Choose any song in your iTunes or play music straight from your speakers, and the JELL-O cube will dance right with the beat. Whether he's stirring it up or serving it out, one thing's for sure—this cube's no square.
How to Jiggle
Choose any song in your iTunes® library or play music straight from your home speakers, and this JELL-O cube will jiggle right with the beat. In library mode, just add as many songs as you'd like to the playlist, and then click Done. Or, choose mic mode and hold your device up to any home speakers.
You can also swipe your finger on the screen to activate special moves. Country. Hip-hop. Krunk. JELL-O does it all.
Extra Tips
1. You can change your song or flavor at any point during a track. Just click on the options menu in the bottom-right corner.
2. The cube isn't picky about music. So, try choosing a song that's a little faster or even a little slower, and watch him break it down.
3. You can also try linking moves together to create new dance combinations. Just swipe your finger in different directions to activate different moves.
The Nitty Gritty
The JELL-O Jiggle-It app uses an original audio analyzer to detect a song's BPM (beats per minute) along with its energy level throughout the track. The cube then pulls moves based strictly on those levels and the determined BPM—guaranteeing no dance is ever exactly alike. All the moves were designed in collaboration with a professional choreographer, and most can be triggered by a simple swipe gesture. The app also uses a cutting-edge, 3D engine to create the JELL-O cube's authentic texture.
FAQ
When I'm in mic mode, sometimes my cube seems off. Why is that?
The app is probably having a hard time detecting your audio. Try placing your device close to the audio source and limiting background noises (like people talking).
Why is there a load screen?
We need to analyze your song so we can sync your cube up to the beat. Don't worry, this process only takes a few seconds the first time we analyze each track.
What devices support the Jiggle-It app?
Jiggle-It is compatible with iPad®, iPad 2, iPhone® 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPod touch®.
Will there be a version available for Android™?
Currently, we support the above iOS devices only. There are no current plans for an Android version, but keep checking back for expanded support across Apple® devices.
It says it can't load my track because of a DRM problem. What do I do?
DRM-protected tracks were formerly sold in the iTunes store, and iTunes restricts our access to those songs. To use this track in Jiggle-It, upgrade this song to iTunes Plus (within your desktop iTunes) and then reload it to your device.
What happens if I find a bug in the app?
We're keeping a close eye on technical issues that customers are having and are periodically submitting fixes. Keep an eye out for updates, and shoot us an email if you have any problems using Jiggle-It.
Why doesn't the cube start dancing right after I add a song?
Now, Jiggle-It lets you choose a playlist to keep your cube jiggling song after song. Just remember to click Done after you add tracks to your queue.
Is this the final version of the app?
Not at all. We're currently looking at new ways to improve, including adding new colors, video sharing, etc. So, keep an eye out for updates!
